The Posh Club is a glamorous performance and social club for older people held regularly in five locations across London and the South East.
Each three-and-a-half hour event is styled as a tongue-in-cheek ‘posh’ 1940’s afternoon tea with three live show business turns, volunteer waiters in black tie, vintage crockery and an in-house pianist.
It is a glamorous event for about 100 participants a week, held in the heart of the community in elegantly transformed church halls and other grass roots spaces and emphasises dressing up, regular access to live performance, social connectivity and intergenerational volunteering.
The Kitchen Quartet are delighted to be returning to The Posh Club, East London on 29th October 2025.
The Kitchen Quartet's past performances include Duckie's Posh Club, Robin Ince's Nine Lessons and Carols for a Godless People at the Bloomsbury Theatre, Sunday Assembly (Conway Hall), Crafternoon Cabaret at the Hospital Club (West End), Sunday Cabaret (West End), The Tickled Bean Comedy Club, East 17 Art Club, Tricity Vogue's Ukulele Cabaret, Toulouse Lautrec London, Tsitsit Jewish Fringe Festival and regular appearances at the Open Arts Cafe in Marble Arch.
